Helaman 14:13

"And if ye shall believe on his name ye will repent of all your sins, that thereby ye may have a remission of them through his merits."

Samuel the Lamanite taught the Nephites about Jesus. Everyone can repent and turn to Christ to become clean. Christ died for all of us, and he made it possible to have eternal life and happiness.
