Mosiah 21:15

"And now the Lord was slow to hear their cry because of their iniquities; nevertheless the Lord did hear their cries..."


Even though the Lord may take His time to answer our prayers, He always hears them and is aware of our needs when we pray and tell them to Him. In order to receive answers though, we need to be righteous and ask for righteous things. He's not going to give us everything we want, rather He'll give us what we need.
