Mosiah 29:32

"And now I desire that this inequality should be no more in this land, especially among this my people; but I desire that this land be a land of liberty, and every man may enjoy his rights and privileges alike, so long as the Lord sees fit that we may live and inherit the land, yea, even as long as any of our posterity remains upon the face of the land."

King Mosiah is giving his last speech to the people before judges rule the people. I really like his desires for liberty and equality in the land.  It makes me realize how blessed I am to live in the USA where I have equality and liberty.  I also like how Mosiah says "so long as the Lord sees fit" because the Lord is the boss. If we do not keep His commandments, the Lord may not see fit that we live in equality and liberty.  If we change the definition of equality (such as allowing gay marriage), the Lord may not like that and may take away more of what we have.  This is a blessed land and we need to act like it.
